Yup! They seem to change boyfriends as frequently as tampons!

OK, OK, true, not all of them, but most. Mind you, if I were that good looking, I would too. Then again, really, it could be a hazard of the job. Who could put up with the close scrutiny by QA, the crazy flying hours, strict rules, always tired girlfriend if and when they're in town, etc.?

The advice I would have for the cabin crew is to use their opportunity in their overseas travels and find a Western husband on their flights. Their beauty will not last and QA will sure let them go once their "best-before" date has expired.

Yes, sad, but fact of life.

Another suggestion: stay away from the locals. Do not pick locals as boyfriends. Catastrophic strategic move.

My friends who are flight attendants told me that the rules are they are not allowed to get married for the first 2 years of their contract. Be sure to know the facts ahead of time. Maybe if she is already married when she gets the job things are different.

Good for her , But I think It's tough to get into QA .. but try hard ..

I think Qataria will not employ married female flying crew.They may give her duty on ground not neccecery in Qatar or may be in Qatar.

As she's Lead Cabin Attendant (but domestic airlines) shouldn't make it very difficult for her to fetch a job with QA probably wont have the same position in an international 5-Star airline. A friend of mine had moved to QA from Kingfisher but was at comparitively lower grade than what she served for at Kingfisher. However,s he aint with QA anymore coz of restrictions & politics she couldnt handle.

She was offered Qrs.3500/- basic ...topped with the flying hours calculated that may reach somewhere around Qrs. 6000/- not very sure about it as hardly discussed this with her. Accomodation provided. Be Noted that the Laundry bills along with few other services u take from QA are deducted from ur package.

She will not be permitted to stay anywhere other than QA provided accomodation until she's married. Yes, after submittal of marriage certificate she can move to live with her spouse.

Note: QA Cabin' still prefer single women rather than married. You will hardly be able to see her. She shall not be with you during special days like ur festivals, bdays, valentine's day etc. She would be tired most of the times with the flight schedules & even should she be in the house, you will find her sleeping in order to relax & be awake for the next boarding. QA involves all big time politics. First mistake is your last mistake. In short QA is not a very good employer.

i believe the salary is 3700 QR (with out flying hours)

with flying hours it MAY reach 6000 QR to 7000 QR

as long she is single she cant live out of company accomodation.

but if she is married , yes she is allowed to live out of co. provided accomodation.

just a thought.....the poster apparently enquired about his fiancee's salary not because he is too bothered about it....he is concerned about her career as much as she is and does not want her to quit her good job in india and end up with a lowly paid job for HIS sake.i don't see anything 'wrong' in that.

and a family where both husband and wife are working is definitely better in today's day and age coz the quality of life will definitely be better than when only the husband is the bread-winner.gives the woman a feeling of self-confidence and independence and a feeling that she is not being a burden for the family but is being a shoulder,alongwith her husband,to bear the burden :-)

this is just my personal opinion.

Nothing wrong in knowing how much your wife will make if it concerns budget planning for accommodation etc.

Buddy,just a few months back the recruitment procedure for CABIN CREW-QA was going on..I think she missed that..Tell her to see the website of QA to get the job..

One of my frd works in QA as a cabin crew but shez unmarried...She has to stay in a company accomodation..I can't precisely answer u for ur last query..Wait for other QLers to answer u...
