Problems with QL cure Inshallah

I have been having lots of trouble clicking on tabs such as "Hot Topics" etc, my cursor just bounces around. I also have had problems recently with my login, I am shown as logged in but I can't post anything.
OK bottom line.... I just changed to Google Chrome and everything now works properly. Methinks it may be IE 8 that is the culprit. I'm not an IT person I think I was just lucky.
