For Government dealings follow strictly the legal channel and comply with the requirements of their statutory documents in legal way. This will make your job easier and lay a happy future. Short cuts and using improper channels will end up in a serious trouble for you.

My visa title change took close to a year, complying every time their required support documents and clarify their queries.

you should think twice and never give money away like that. some people will tell you give me money and i will make you my partner and give you 2000 each month later all gone ... do not fall in this trick . many paeople here act rich and like business men but they are only thieves dressed in suits.and the law will not work on your side because you were stupid or nayeef.but make sure these people one day will fall down and will stay behind bars for a long time.

And, I would not go to the police, because what you did, is illegal. "Buying" a visa is illegal!!

You (the OP) are an idiot! A work visa is 1.200 Riyals including the ID card. The cost is with the sponsor. You have been punished for stupidity!

this is not a crap i was the one who experience this..

my sponsor name was awatef she cannot speak english so i depend on to my mandood who's a filipina. When my mandoob left in qatar i look for a person who can talk to my sponsor into arabic then i met fahad. Fahad told me that he has a business which is a contracting business then he said i could change my sponsorship to him so i can talk to him easily. He offer his help to me to talk my sponsor after they talk in arabic he said to me that i have to renew my visa (my visa expiration was jan 2010 and fahad undertake my papers was also jan 2010) 1st before i could transfer my visa. So he ask me to give him 4500 riyals for the signature of my sponsor together with renewal paper. After that he shown me the paper(renewal) with the signature of my sponsor and he said he will bring it to the immigration for approval. SO I've waited 3 weeks for my renewal then fahad told me that i was renew so he needs another 5500 for my new visa. I trust all my documents to him even my passport I call him everyday asking him about my papers but he said its already done and he gave me the assurance that he would not lied to me he gave me the original copy of his company permit and also an aggreement paper that I've he take 10000 riyals from me.So I trust him because of that...but it was my fault because of my desperation to fix my visa i gave that money. I waited for 6 months to get my papers from fahad he only return my passport tru his friend. My desperation to fix my visa is getting bigger and bigger then i look another person to help me to talk my sponsor I found that was nahir. I ask nahir to help me about my problem and all i want is to get me out of here ( qatar) Nahir talk to my sponsor (awatef) my sponsor is asking 5000 riyals for my NOC and for the exit permit and cancellation of my visa 3000

**** ill continued tomorrow

i think its crap..... how can you make someone lie to you as easy as that? how can they give you a visa? visas are given in embassys so you should think twice if somebody tell you they can attain it for you for aome amount..... just do what they require of you at the embassy walk there boldly and you will be given if you have what they require as simple as that...
