Trying to sidestep the issue by launching personal attacks.... only persons who don't have an answer do that... get personal without addressing the issue and blame others... (that's how you can get elected, BTW) How pathetic of you! tsk...tsk... tsk...

You still did not bother to answer this BECAUSE YOU WERE CAUGHT LYING TO YOUR TEETH! -

So why begin your proposition with a half-truth (a lie) and then demand the entire nation to "Get Real"? BE REAL FIRST.

For me, anything that begins with a lie is a whole lie!

Until you can satisfy me in explaining why begin your assertion with a half-truth or a lie, you can never convince me with your so-called 'noble ideas'.

BTW, the best e-book??? YUP, E as in ERRONEOUS

hello treysdad. yes you are right, i was born in the philippines & my serviceman dad took us all around the globe & not only in scotland. i was there for only a year & it was quite an experience...

you see tresydad, many of your textbooks were modified expecially during the marcos presidency for political reasons. in fact several history textbooks were found to have several factual errors. but we don't want to go into that.

i could understand why you wouldn't understand our point of "being real". because, you spend half of your life partying & another half worrying whats in store for the future. i on the other hand, decided to achieve greatness by thinking out of the filipino box or the "bahala na" mentality.

but you see, let the people decide where they want to stick their toes on. i on the other hand is simply presenting an option...but in a rather blunt manner.

being the manager of your so called filipino group, the least you could have done is to acknowledge certain issues eg. intellectual bankruptcy, work hard not smart, racism filipino style, chinese filipinos, cinema, religious but not spiritual etc. but i guess you were so afraid that you would lose grip with your cult-like following. you are simply using your filipino group to capitalize on their need of having "someone" in a land so strange for them... for reasons, well, you know what it is... well let me tell you this, loosen up the leash & let them breakaway from their trapped & construed idealism. otherwise, they will just pass this as their only inheritance to their kids. perhaps, you wanted to start your own "el shaddai" thing here in doha?

by the way, can you please change your dog tag to treystay and treysnay so it would sound more like filipino. its kinda hipocrite to be proud of your own country but then again tries to americanize the filipino family. see you at the games!

He was born in the Philippines from Filipino parents and was brought by his parents to Scotland at the age of 9.

But it is still not good enough reason for not knowing the country's history and making a whole lie about it.

So we have nothing against the Scots.

thats simply because those people were curse in all their fate... no matter how try they let other people to believe in them, believers knew to where to cling in a much happier world to move in.

No matter how beautiful their own world as they had prophesized, they are the prophetes of their meaningless world, a world where from the moment of creation until everlasting continually grows retrogressing. A crap world apart from the believers world with respect, a world without intimidation, a world full of enthusiasm, a world of cooperation, a whole new world of optimism and friendliness...

Alecscotland, I admire your persistent effort to get your "get real" message to anyone who may not have the effort to find truth into your assertions.

Disparaging the country and all its citizenry is not the way to get your ideas a buy-in no matter how noble they are.

I did not have a spine-tingling sensation when I saw your website or the pdf file but rather I was aghast at the half truths the were passed off as gospel truths.

Your e-book and your website begins with the following quote: "I prefer a country run like hell by Filipinos to a country run like heaven by Americans..." as said by President Manuel L. Quezon.

I may not be an intelligent man but as I remember from my history class the whole statement is:

"I prefer a country run like hell by Filipinos to a country run like heaven by Americans, because however bad a Filipino government might be, we can always change it.” It was said at a time when Governor Generals were appointed by the US President and not elected by the people.

So why begin your proposition with a half-truth (a lie) and then demand the entire nation to "Get Real"? BE REAL FIRST.

For me, anything that begins with a lie is a whole lie!

Until you can satisfy me in explaining why begin your assertion with a half-truth or a lie, you can never convince me with your noble ideas.

Also be fair to MLQ, don't misquote him!

with my Filipino friends and I never see anything wrong. Always cheerful and nice to be with and their company is very nice. Some people think that is they got another piece of paper in their hands then they are different than the others. No matter what other nationality you hold, they would never look at you the same as your own country.
