Can any of your folks recommend a good pediatrician for my 3 year old? I've tried the American Hospital, but they're more interested in their profits than in the quality of their patient care.
thanx for the info. i have heard about dr attiya too, and i would like to give her a try as well. my daughter has a predisposition due to which she is on light meds, and due to this i have to be careful about how the doctor treats her and so on and so forth. i agree with Xih. u have to be picky where kids are concerend and i am picky too. i need to know everythin. so far the emergency has been my safe haven alhamdullilah, simply for the reason that they take more care when checking my daughter.its nice to have an alternative too.
I think is all about the character of each person I love punctuality and professionalism I think DR Khalid has those qualities, also I ask aloooot of questions I want to know why, how when and exactly what is wrong with my kid in order to prevent and understand the illness better, I like to know what is the Dr giving me as treatment etc. I guess you can tell I am very picky. I do agree that he is not the friendliest Dr. But I like his work. I saw may pediatritians that were frindly, but when i start asking quiestions they didn't like it , felt I didn't trust them or worst coudn't undesstand what i was saying ..
I've had great experiences with Dr. Mamoun (not sure if the spelling) at Al Ahli. My baby thinks going to him is play time.
Someone else recommended Dr. Khalid at Doha Clinic, but I would not recommend him at all. He attended my baby's birth and was very unfriendly. When we went back a couple days later, he yelled at my husband and I because we were 5 minutes late to our appointment. The third time, he yelled at my mother who came to the appointment with me. I will never go back...
what are the consultation fees like at al ahli, ob/gyn and pedeatrics.
whats the waiting time like over there, can u take appointments beforehand itself??
does anyone know more in this regard?
i hate waiting endlessly, esp when the kids are sick, i get all panicky.....kids cry, we wait, the healthy kid is running, it becomes like a mini circus, with me fuming and getting all worked up. do others also go through this, or am i the special one???
During summer my baby had a lot of diarrhea I was looking for some one that would speak good English I ask too many questions and like to know exactly why? And How to prevent the illness to come again? I REALLY like DR. Khalid in Doha Clinic I highly recommend him. His English is good and he had all the patience to listen to me and explain what was wrong with my baby. I saw a lot of Drs before I got to him. Including American Hospital I agree with you they are in just for the money.
Hi, If you are not asian you wouldnt even go to a Indian doctor but hey ifs the docs good then whats the problem , u can consult Dr. Vidyashankar at Apollo Hospital, my child benefitted from going there ,he was put on an endless cylce of tests by all the others we showed him but for no reason, he put an end to it....thankfully. My recommendation is that hes a good doctor.

Al Ahli and Dr. Attiya are great. Also is a great hospital to have a baby - Dr. Rizvi.
You still did not master the "American Interest" i had just expanded this phylosophy from the ordinary strade to the space ?????
interest include profit making, of course.

Hi.
I can highly recommend the Al Ahli hospital - especially pediatrician Dr. Attiya - she is really good!.
She is very straight forward with her opinion (some people like it some don't - I personally like her style.)
If you need more information let me know.
