As the summer vacations draw to a close, an exciting new course for kids commences just before they head back to school. Creative art classes will be held from August 9 to September 1 at Mathaf Arab Museum of Modern Art. Let your children play with colors as they learn about the color theory and color mixing in fun ways.
A Most Smurfstastic day

Venue: Entertainment City at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center

Here is your chance to watch the delightful Smurfs perform at the Entertainment City. The show is on for another two days. Grab your kids and take them to see the blue, funny creatures entertaining you all in the fun environment of the festival.

Aspire brings the community together in a most healthy way. The swimming and running sessions are open for all, experienced and amateurs alike. Knowledge of basic swimming is required. Aspire Splash and dash is for everyone above 8 years of age.
Girls Creativity Center

“Be Creative” is the title that the Ministry of Culture and Sports is organizing the summer festival under. There are three age categories:
8 – 11
12 – 16
17 and above
The workshops will have hands-on skills based activities that include:

Date: July 28 – September 8
Venue: Community Development Centre, Al Khor
“Enjoy better summer with us” is the second edition of the summer initiative by Qatar Charity’s Community Development Centre in Al Khor. Multitudes of activities are part of the plan where children learn and have fun too. Qualified teachers supervise over 100 students that are from primary and preparatory levels. The program includes educational, cultural and artistic activities, a sports championship, multiple trips, meetings and competitions. Sports activities are targeted toward inculcating a healthy lifestyle in children from an early age. They include football, swimming, archery, horse-riding, and electronic games. Artistic ventures are encouraged, which include workshops for handmade things and drawing classes, including paper, glass and woods and workshops on Arabic calligraphy.
