Mohammed Amir "lured" into match fixing

PAKISTAN'S fast bowler Mohammed Amir, who we exposed as being part of a multi million pound match fixing scam, is reported to have admitted his involvement to the Pakistani Cricket Board (PCB).

The 19 year old is said to have given a statement to the team management claiming he was "lured" into the scandal by former Pakistani Test skipper Salman Butt.

In August we exposed Butt, Amir and Mohammad Asif as bowling three blatant no balls to order after our reporter Mazher Mahmood paid £150,000 to London-based fixer Mazhar Majeed. All three players have since been suspended by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and were sent home in disgrace after the fourth test at Lords.
