Yes brit, the quality of South american football is excellent absolutely no doubts about that, but what i was trying to say was that Asian teams have been doing good in the last couple of years as well,i mean look at North Korea for instance, they shocked the footballing world with the way they performed against Brazil.

In my opinion,i don't see the USA as contenders for the next world cup, still a long way to go.

I was just saying that Japan and South Korea are not yest in the same league as the South Americans. In a few years perhaps. Similarly, I expect the USA to be real contenders by the next world cup.

Yes they will be good matches,

the work rate and the technical abilities of the japanese on the pitch are trully outstanding,i can't see why they wouldn't beat the paraguayans.

Brit,we have to look at the other possible contenders as well! it just can't be Europe and South America all the time!

The form in which Japan are at the moment, they would certainly go far in the tournament,at least till the quarterfinals.
