My daughter knows to read and write Arabic very well. But she can't speak it at all. Do any of you know about any Spoken Arabic learning courses in Qatar which would benefit her? thanks!!
It's such a great thing to see people taking advantage of living away from home by expanding their horizons and gaining new knowledge and getting the most knowledge and awareness they can get from living in a different culture from theirs.
Some of my American friends traveled to Cairo, and when they got hungry, they were looking for a KFC, a McDonald's, and a Hardees. They traveled half a world a way on a tourist trip to experience a culture new to them, and when it came to food, instead finding out when Egyptian cuisine is like, they went for the junk food they're familiar with! That's not the right attitude to gain the most out of the culture you're experiencing.
Learning Arabic for non-Arabic speakers is a sign of having a great attitude towards maximizing the benefit of your stay in an Arabic speaking country.
