Krispy Kreme

KRISPY KREME is finally here in Doha

then again a lot of arabs ehem... i mean a lot of people will get fat.

I was there that morning at the opening of the first Kripy Kreme at Villagio Mall and it is really a pack of people waiting for a whole year supply of Krispy Kreme. Every hour I count my spot and its all good because I'm always on the safe zone for the first 25 to get the whole year supply because for the second 25 you will get a half year supply of doughnut.

As the time reaches 3pm a lot or people are dying to get in line so as we who got in the first 50 slot we dont want someone to cut i line. HAAAAY NAKU (its an impression) as the time reaches 5pm the whole floor was a mess people cutting in line, kids crying, a lot of spectators outside and us waiting, good thing the operating manager gave us a numbered paper and i got the number 25 lol wow that's a whole year.. that time my patience paid off and those people at back of me where envious because they will only get a half year supply.

past 2hours after opening the people at Villagio wants to get those mouth watering doughnuts here in doha a lot of people, arab guys were buying 2 boxes and the most 5 boxes of doughnuts

I really think that this is the most successful store opening here in doha

*and for good reason Im selling my coupon for 1300QR just give me a call if you are interested 5339278

I think they would give away for free the left overs from the previous days. Why would you want to play the role of a waste bin for 1000 odd rials!!! Boo hoo!!! Sour grapes!!

Thanks for the info. :) Nopes, definitely not interested in buying the coupon for sure. Either, I'll wait for 'Leaving in Doha' to make me his best friend and distribute them for free or do what Scarlett suggested, drive there and eat whenever one feels like.

More on the coupon system. This is so weird. So do I have to drive all the way to villagio mall to claim my dozen doughnuts on a weekly basis??? Worse still, I live at the other end of Doha, Airport.

Hi spicemom

thanx for the suggestion i would definitely do that first thing is to give it to my friends, next my colleagues, and last is do a good deed for our labourers here in doha...

so sorry if you got the wrong impression about me its just sometimes we feel like human the feeling of greed, money, power, etc... its really good that like spicemom give an advice that is well worth for a person to feel happy inside like making someone smile, sharing, giving, and sharing a simple doughnuts could mean a lot to a simple person.

so again this is my repost:

if no one is interested of buying a 1300QR (lima foxtrot i intentionally repost a 1300QR instead of 1200QR so if anyone will bargain i could give in to 1200QR or worst a 1000QR hope i made my point)

I will share it with my friends, colleagues, fellow labourers, etc...

so i will check this forum every day till next week if still nobody is interested of buying i will definitely take the advice of spicemom....

if i had that coupon i would go to diff construction sites and donate it to the labourers they would surely appreciate it. those donuts are free anyway -do a good deed each week ,not having a problem with sugar, calories and waist line....lol(but this is me and not everyone thinks the same for sure...) one donut a week is fine by me......:O)

It will be easier and much more fun just to head over there to KK and watch for the red hot sign..pick a couple up and head out again. Never buy a dozen at a time..cause then you eat them all..

Amnesia...better do the math as in calories...there's a TON of them in one donut!!

Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be.

You first put the vouchers in classifieds yesterday for 1200QR, today it’s for 1300QR. Are you planning to put a classified in with an increase of 100QR everyday?

Just a question... so they supply those doughnuts for the whole year in one shot? or do they deliver fresh ones each morning to your office or home?

Very curious to know how does this deal work.
