Kahramaa Bill is this looks normal ?
Hi all
I have moved to doha recently
so i dont have any reference regarding the bills(ele,water)
my current bills are 250 QAR per month
we are two persons.and we dont wast water nor electricity.
our apartment is normal size 2BHK.
it this consumption rate is normal here at qatar ?
or are the bills high ?
what d u think ?

we have similar issue on our w & e bills -- its never consistent, sometimes it low but most of the time its very high.

Check the difference in reading.
Secondly check if your water meter is working properly. If it is not working properly Kharma will keep on sending your average bill of QR 150 for water per month + electricity.
I had the same problem for six months. than I went and complained to Kharma about it and after wards its fine.
Kharma customer service centre is open till 8 pm sun - thursday.

yes, sad to say they are lazy to read the meter monthly that's why they read it every 4th month. i'm 100% right beacause i ask them about that and you can see it in you bill ZERO CONSUMPTION :-/

yup that was the figure on my friend's Kharama bill .
.... it will change. Thats the joy of Kaharamaa.
Because they dont regularly read the meters (like most civilized countries), one month you might find the water at QR5 and electricity at QR100. then a couple of months later you get a total whopping bill of QR1000 just because they decided to play catchup.
Ive had the same issue for the last several years in my place and we even have the same problem at our office.
unless, as someone mentioned above, its an estimated bill, you are doing well to keep it down to that for a 2bhk

first 3 months is not the actual reading, the final reading will be every 4th month, the previous bill will be deducted to your 4th reading, check it here http://www.km.com.qa/en/customer/pages/billpayment.aspx
