Human Race at its best !

Here comes the quadrennial show displaying the BEST of human race. The conglomeration of over 10,000 athletes from over 200 countries will showcase the best in terms of human limits, both physiological & psychological, in all possible sports.

We will see the fastest, the mightiest of our era among us without the prejudice of Race, Faith, Color and Place.
It’s not about blabbering of ‘I’m the best’ but the opportunity to showcase ‘Who is the Best’, a blatant display of Skills, Determination & Human Vigor.

I’m enjoying every moment of it, and if you ain’t then revisit the glorious games our times. Let’s all enjoy the brilliance of Men & Women of our times.

Brit, no need for reminder, we all know those 'conning' 100 yrs of British adventures there and other places,

Do you want me take you back few more centuries when the socalled advanced nation today were living in dark ages and Indians were teaching mathematics & philoshophy?

can we now get back to the games ...

The shooting and archery were fun to watch, but can't wait for the track and field to start.

Abhinav Bindra was the ONLY gold medallist in Beijing 2008 (10 m air rifle). That's approximately 0.0000001% of the population.

So, the British failed in India, brit. They should have introduced the 'mens sanum in corpore sano' concept of the Greeks (In a healthy body lives as healthy mind).

Australia has only a few million people and yet produces world class sportsmen.

The simple answer is that it requires major investment including sports at schools, academies, qualified coaches and facilities.

By anonymous• 29 Jul 2012 12:57

and Jamaica with a tiny population produces far too many medalists.

It is not understandable how a country with a population of more than a billion people cannot produce Olympic winners like China does. Does it have something to do with race?

Sorry I thought Pakistan were better at Hockey than India, even Germany, England and Holland. I thought the India team only took part for the half time orange.....

I like Indians, long history and culture, except not in running, jumping or throwing. I guess if its not cricket it's not sport for Indians!

Actually thinking about it, the Olympics is very racist. Where are all the Indian winners of gold medals? I'm sure the IOC is handicapping them.

I wonder for the conscience of people who ‘love’ watching beach-volleyball but refrain sending their teams for the reasons beyond sporting.
