Good morning to all QLers! it's the start of a brand new week...i have missed QL-ing for 2 days, so now it's another week for me! how was your weekend? hope you all had a great weekend as i did!!

Monkey no. 2 while not unused to the idea of going to school finds it very hard to get used to going back to a routine and considering his chosen outfit for getting around during summer has been naked with no shoes (unless going out or having people over of course) we did have a small tantrum over the new school shoes this morning, so was unsure whether that would carry over to when he got to school, but alas my worry was for nothing actually I think he probably would have preferred it if I left him at the school gate to save him the embarrassment. (OH god I'm Becoming my Mother..............NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO)

in my case though, each night when i get home, she would put her arms around me and blab about how she missed me all day, like i was gone for a year! kids sure are the sweetest thing in the world!
of course, it is...im glad i didn't have to worry about dragging my baby just to get to school,..she was all excited about it,..she didn't even want me on the school bus with her the next day...
Morning Mis-Cat, I remember those days. My little girl literally pushed me out the door with both hands on her first day of pre-school, lol!
But you know what...now she's in college 6000 miles away and I'm sooooo glad she's a strong and independent young lady :-)
Considering I thought I was going to have to drag him kicking and screaming, it was a pretty good result.

i could relate to that mis-cat,..my 4 year old is the same as soon as she gets in the classroom and sees her classmates...
Finally both Monkeys are back to school, although a little bit sad as Monkey number 2 walked straight into his classroom with out even a glance backwards or a kiss goodbye, but you get that...
