Germans were Pathetic
Yesterdays semifinal between Germany and Spain was like a league match, Germans are pathetic,
KLOSE - he was never close to the ball.
Shweinsteiger- Staggered all over the place without ball.
Podonski - was he there in the match ?? just running around.
Goal keeper - Only player who was active through out.
Lahm - Lone warrior from this end to that end going alone.
Germany lost due to following three factors :
1. Mr.Paul ( octopus ) prediction due to which there was negative impact.
2. Mr. Lahm's controversial statement regarding captaincy before winning the world cup.
3. Too much defensive approach at the beginning.
4. Passes were poor, they were lazy in passing the ball, they were too defensive and strategy was to play safe till last 15th minute and go all out and score in the last final, which was back fired.
A talented team bites the dust.

Germany will take 3rd place INSHAALLAH unless they do something really stupid.But Uruguay will not stand by with arms folded! they will want to finish their campaign on a high note.
I've been telling anyone who would listen that the germans are not that good. they beat a poor England side who could have still gone in at half time at 2-2 (and should have) and then faced a tactically inept argie side lead by a moron. They also got beat by Serbia and struggled against Ghana. The three best sides were Holland, Spain and Brazil and two are in the final. Justice done.
soniya ...ofcourse we will cheer both the teams but we expect an exciting game too :) ,,,even i hope germany gets the third position :)
I was looking for their attacking style but it was not there. Team play was lacking. Spain clearly dominated the game.
But they are a young team and they can come back in Brazil 2014.

i am with germany for 3rd place and with nobody for finals.
hope so Finals will not be like yesterdays match..i have a strange feeling tat football finals was closed by last week..

The Netherlands-Uruguay match was fiery towards the end afrinn & rebel with the uruguayans desperate to catch the Dutch!
M yesterdays match was as said by Afrin, it was sleeping nothing much of attack or any excitement.
afrinnabees...yups all my friends were sleepin during the match we watched at marriott yesterday..i kept my eyes wide open till then end coz i had a bet on spain :P ,,,but there was no excitement and thrill in the match like the match between netherland & uraguay

I can agree to most of the things you pointed out hms.
The Germans were lacking in energy and spirit last night,although at times they caused some worry,but it was minimal
The Spanish were keeping possession as expected,and even held on in defence as well.
in short...spain won :P
