I am sure that many people will now say how rubbish Qatar is for doctors but that isn't the point of this thread. Personally I haven't come across many female orthopaedic surgeons either in Qatar, the UK, both places in which I have practiced.
This country has some of the best Orthopaedic Surgeons in the world! Unless it is absolutely impossible I would choose according to skill and reputation rather than gender.

I know there are experts at QOSMH......western trained but none are female!

yikes! Wouldn't trust any female doctor! Best surrender your dignity for a male that won't chop a limb off!
