Father & Son - true story
A son asked his father, 'Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?'.
The father who, despite having a heart condition, says 'Yes'.
They went on to complete the marathon together.
Father and son went onto join other marathons, the father always saying 'Yes' to his son's request of going through the race together.
One day, the son asked his father, 'Dad, let's join the Iron man together.'
To which, his father said 'Yes' too.
For those who don't know, Iron man is the toughest triathlon ever.
The race encompasses three endurance events of a
2.4 mile (3.86kilometer) ocean swim,
followed by a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride,
and ending with a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island.
Father and son went on to complete the race together.

The look on the sons face when they finished the marathon was extrodinary. The message here is the "you can", not many of us would even contemplate doing that due to heart condition and the sons physical disability but he did it because it meant a lot to his son.
I think its great what the father did for the kid, but jeez to go that extent, you must be crazy...and to risk your life while being a heart patient, in the event something happened to the father who would look after the son?
Though I'm assuming they made money out of it via sponsors.

i am really touched with the video since i grew up without my father.
A touching and powerful story of a parent's love for their child.. All parents love their children and show it in different ways.. Hockey Moms for instance or fathers who take them to football..
Nothing really to do with religion..

But i dont tend to believe everything my eyes see, specially videos like this on the net. this world is so deceptive that anyone could have made up that video. Like for an advertisement. It's been known how many offshoots of Christianity, specially in the US, do spend a lot of money to advertise and bring more people in their social and religious group. May be, it is one of these adverts.
Nonetheless, the lesson that I take from this moving video is: God loves us more than this dad loves his son.
Btw( Is that really his son? the son looks like a brother or friend) and to believe that the dad has heart conditions, wow thats hard to swallow.
