The distance of the corniche starting at sheraton is 7km. If you walk along the wall to the water, you will see a 100m marker on the floor. So it starts at 0 at sheraton and at 7000m (7km).
I think (not sure) that from Sheraton park till the place where the Dhow boats are anchored...its like 4 Kms. Wait for others to reply as I may be wrong :-)

Is that all it is all the way round... completely say for example start and finish at the sheriton its only 7km?! Looks further!
