Hi,
i recently had an operation that went a little wrong but then got fixed (thank god). When i was in the operation i bled a lot & had a very very bad experience. Ever since i was let out of the hospital i started thinking a lot about death & dreaming a lot :S
the problem is that I am only 16 & i don't know what to do & how to stop this. I am Muslim (alhamdolilah) & i pray & do everything. any ideas?
Thanks

Dude,

Congratulations... whtever the operation was for.. You are healthy again....

death - it is truth we all shall live one day...

Technically there is no need to be scared of it. ACCEPT it as a FACT.. like 2 + 2 = 4.... it is never gonna change.. whether we like it tht way or not...

Same is with Death..

But if it scares you . .

I used to have this fear too (A fren in college died rt in front of our eyes...on our laps.....lets not get into the details now) so see if it helps you too....

Try to think about it.... try to think about death... don run away from it....

when you want to think about it.... try to live the thought in imagination... the thought doesn scare anymore..

worked for me.. hope it works for you too mate....

life is short... don waste it in over-thinking... :)

as FU says.... have a Gal fren...

you are too young to get married.. else tht would have been better.....

Death is not the worst thing to happen to us..

trying to understand a Woman is :)

Hussain,

At my age of 12, I had a very severe electic shock, all my fingers was burnt, and God was willing to extend my life, But it took months to get my fingers in shape and functional.

At my age of 17 I had a situation to get my leg amputed, but even now I walk with two legs.Later so many incidents, which I thought I was finished. I am still alive by God's Grace.

I messed with other incidents, where I was blamed, physically & mentally harassed and I stood still praying to God.

Finally,& recently, I had a baby, who was in ICU for one month hung up between earth and heavens and finally God decided to leave her to live in this earth.

When you have issues (problems - in our views & terms) be thankful to God, but we don't and we never use to.

There is something on the otherway, which is much prospective.

Perhaps God has given this time to rethink about your life, careear and plans.Perhaps you will be one among those to change the world for a good cause. Defenitely if you are back to life, you have got a mission ahead.

Talk to wiser people who could guide you.

Leave the people behind who have negative thoughts and approaches. BE POSITIVE ALWAYS AND SMILE TO YOURSELF AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Instead of worrying about death get on with living. My Best friend went through cancer and came out the other side exactly the same.

He thanks me now for saying " Get off your behind and get on with living instead of waiting to Die."

DEATH is something that is sure to happen. The question is WHEN? so how you want to be remembered when your gone is something that you should instill to yourself while you are alive and kicking.

Glad to hear that you "pulled through".

It is only natural to worry. Death comes to us all. Belive that, but live your life to the full.

...Death is just a way to rejuvenate your soul so that you can come back refreshed in another form. You might become a tiger or an eagle in your next life.Ask god to make you whatever you love the most in your next life ( He can't make you a Landcruiser! ) . You just need to relax. I don't think you are going to die anytime soon. Find a girlfriend and bounce your negativities off her.

It is normal if you feel such fear from what u experienced ... i should suggest that you seek psychological counselling, they can help you cope up ur fears ... they r the best person who can help you.

On the other hand, u should also be thankful that u r still alive and was given another life . What u experienced is somehow an "eye opener" for u take it the positive way. Try to appreciate everything u have & live a life doing good deeds... hope this will help .

If u need somebody to talk just mssg me ...

try psychiatric private clinics, i'm sure you'll find the cure.

this could simply be some kind of PTSD (post trauma stress disorder), google it a bit and check if the symptoms are similar to yours, then seek medical advice.

Yalla!

Better see a counselor and get rid of your fear...if its constantly haunting you... you need help..

this is not the age to think about death...you are just a teenager...if your health is back to normal engage yourself in some activities which makes you feel happy...some sports or join a gym...

Death comes to us all, but we don't know when, so live each day like it was your last :o)

You said it went a little wrong, which means its not your time yet buddy. Enjoy and appreciate life.

Let say think of it as wake up call. When I was your age, death was the least of my worry, I felt invisible or nothing can hurt me.

Live life, death is inevitable for those, whose time is up and its up to Allah not us who decides on that.
