All the brand that you mentioned are great even the fujitsu siemens which is germany made are great too, just compare the specs, but i advise you to buy in jarir, because they have a great after sale service even in the battery leak they have a good warranty...for your 3T rials you can have a good notebook that is 1.7 Ghz. 1gb ram,80 gb hard with wi fi,and multi card reader, with 8x multi dvd rewriter...these specs are good enough you can even play video games...but at the end it depends on you how you care your stuff baby...

best & most reliable laptop?

It depends on how you will utilize it as marco said.

is it for games, graphics, document typing? amd ATHLON or turion with 1GB RAM, 512mb nvidia graphic card, wifi, DVD writer combo, soundblaster sound card, the best.

nowadays all brands are reliable. you need to check for after sales service.

great laptop could be found at carrefour, they got a variety of selection at an appropriate price, i find jarir to be expensive. have their prices compared, though jarir have an after sales service which carrefour don't have(you need to wait after a week, they outsourced it)

with regards the brand, all is great it's just the name and the place where it has been manufactured, toshiba - japan they said, and most of the rest are china, even hp, compaq and nec. Look for the specification, nowadays, the nice minimum spec for a simple notebook is 1G for ram, at least 80G for hard disk and usually wi - fi capable. But still its with how you will utilize your notebook.
