Commercialization rears its ugly head

For goodness sake. What is going on.

Yesterday, I got a leaflet advertising “Valentine Day Romantic Meal” at Rizks’ papadom , Paani Poori and Puncture Palace.

Now, I’m not against advertising, but the fact that we are “forced” into showing our love in such a way and also having to pay exorbitant prices for a meal – 32QR for a three course dinner with candle light and a mariachi band..

I think it’s time we started a boycott of Valentine’s Day Deals OR will you be takeing your beloved to dinner ?
