Classifieds

Hello,

I am new to Qatar & have enjoyed this site. I have just moved in from the US and hope to have a prosperous future here. I have been using the classifieds for housing and to buy a car. I just had a small concern; some people abuse the classifieds section on your site. It may be a good idea if the site has a limit of the characters on the title of the classifieds as well as how many classifieds per month per email address. Maybe the site could filter the repeated posts weekly as well. Members are hurting the sites purpose and are ignorant. Posting something a million times and killing the rest of the posts on the classified section does not make people interested in what you are offer!

I totally agree with you

I totally agree with you, there is a a short time when people will see your ad on the title page. I advertised a post at my place of work and we had a massive reply over the period of a couple of weeks so people do go and look at older things. In fact, we got so many more applications than the very expensive ad placed in the paper! Thanks QL

Thats fine, its just annoying when someone has a title with three lines and posts his ad four times in a row....the rest of the ads are overlooked!

I've posted my ad loads of times...so what?

I don't think that we should call the person putting his ad several times that he/she abuse the site it just sometime you wont urgently to sell or rent something so you put 2 or three times per week the same ad

and also it happens that you have to make ads for the same location but with deferent price coz the home/room is bigger or smaller. People sometimes looking only for specific thing what they are interested in as ex. 2 rooms or one room so even if its the same location you must put 2 ads.

Isn't it?
