Car Vandalism in Villagio

Does anybody experience any form of vandalism in Villagio while shopping, watching movie? like car dent, flat tire or any kind of vandalism.I have this experience last night while watching movie in Villagio, when where about to get in the car a friend saw some dent in the car and my first reaction is what the heck!

Then got inside the car and drove. While i was driving i notice something wrong with the car but then again i just wanted to go home and thankfully we arrived safe in the house and its about 1am so i decided to check the car first thing in the morning as we are all tired. Morning came and check the car to my surprise my tire is completely out of air on the front left side and the front right side has this nail. First thing that came to my mind is to thanked God we are safe and did not crashed or had a accident while driving last night. And of course i was so angry to this kind of people who would to such thing. Is there anything i can do or action for the incident that happen last night? Anyone experience the same thing?

@xena, I said my father is the one who "let it be", not that that is the course of action you should take, of course it is unacceptable and I personally would not have let it slide.

you have to be kidding me... I pay money every month for my car - and I must just accept someone damaging it because they don't like where I park?

I am sorry, but that is not acceptable...

I am watching this guy now - I am making documented photographic evidence of his maliciousness and I will take this further...

How dare he think he can damage someone elses property at his whim?

@ xena

our neighbor used to do the same to one of our cars, there was no 'proof', but he too had issues with people parking on 'his' strip of the road even though there was more than enough space. My father is pretty level headed when it comes to these things and just let it be.

... are not paid to think or go looking for problems. They are only paid to stand there and give the appearance of security whilst carrying out the official apartheid of the site owners.

Its sad but true.

security guards in villaggio are only interested in stopping singles/bachelors from entering their mall, they dont bother about vandals...

My car has been vandilised.... and I know who has done it, but I cannot prove it.

We have a shortage of parking in our building apartments, so most nights I end up parking on the street. There is a house next to our apartment building and the residents there think they own the entire road, so won't allow anyone to park there.

Last week, after parking just off the curb from our building, a little down from his driveway, "someone" reversed into the front of my car - the damage is quite bad - so it was either malicious or the person didn't see my car(which I don't believe).

On further discussion with some colleagues I was told they have seen this particular neighbour reversing into cars that park along "their" strip off street.

On my further investigation, I have noticed a few times since then, how "someone" parks tightly agains another car that might be parked near their gate.

I will mention that there access is in no way blocked for them or any of there 2 cars to be parked infront of or inside their yard.

I think this "someone" just doesn't want his area to be used for parking from other buildings.

But is this the way to go about it? Damaging other peoples cars to pass the message, firstly, and secondly, a street is public property, isn't it?

ericho, we've had several nails in our tires since coming here. Not surprising, since the whole country is a construction zone. But in the future, if you sense something is wrong with your car - DON'T DRIVE IT! Stop, get out and do a walk-around. You could save your life or the life of someone else.

Yes the same has happened to my hubbys car there. One day we came out from having lunch and found a HUGH dent in the drivers door! Strange thing was, we were parked next to a curb so it could not have been caused by another car!!

Do they not have security cameras in the car park?

There are a lot inside and CID do check them with security when there are 'issues'.

Report to security ASAP

happened. Thank god for your good luck. I havaced a similar incident last year while at Villagio and I couldn't do anything. I had gone for a late night movie and I returned to my car and drove away. While I was at the first signal I could feel my car wobbling. I crossed the signal and stopped to check and to my horror, the nuts on my front left tyre were loosed and they were about to fall off! I was amazed coz I take good care of my car and there is no was the bolts could have loosened on their own.

I think you must report this to the security at Villagio immediately. Even if no action is taken, it will be for records and hopefully the security will pay more attention to the vandals.
