Good morning Everyone,
Here is a very important question. Both my wife and I are novel addicts. We have to get our monthly fix of novels. Terry Pratchett is one author whose books we just have to buy. Robert Jordan, Neil Gaiman, Margret Weiss are others (as you can see I' m a fantasy fan). My wife likes her Gorgette Hayer (did I spell it right). What I'd like to know is if there are good book stores there where we can pick up books. Or do we have to lug half our library there? While on the topic what books do you all like to read? And btw my mum says they cost the earth in doha.....is that true??

Thats the coolest thing to happen to Doha. Tonnes upon tonnes of words, pages and books. But it costs a bomb too.
Another option is Jarir book stall in ramada. It has a very decent collection too. Am not sure of the other places. I have been here and have loved the places to bits.
I am as big an addict as you, but it merely is not affordable for me in Doha. That's all folks, hehe!
