BHARAT VASANTH BHAVAN | BAD SERVICE
Dear Q livers,
I had a very bad experience at Bharat vasanth Bhavan restaurant near Jaidah flyover (al Khaleej Street) consecutively for two times. the first one was during onam. I have ordered for three veg meals and got it of a very horrible standard - food quality was very ordinary and the attitude of the staff was totally unacceptable.
And today, i went to the restaurant with my son. the waiter took order for me and my son at 9.15 pm and he bought the item for one person at 9.55 and for my son we had to wait till 10.20. I have asked that waiter why is it getting delayed he said in a very impolite manner it will take time and it is getting ready. I have requested him to get it packed if it is getting delayed - he said it is not possible. Later he served it aroung 10.30 pm, and delivered the bill and through the folder on the table.
I think they have this service problem especially on thursdays. Please we love this restaurant for their tasty and delecious cuisines but all these things are getting spoiled by the attitude and behaviour of the cashier and the waiters. The management should take a better care in sorting out this issues asap keeping in mind that this is not the only one south indian restaurant in the town.
Me too agree with skvnair, same happened to me in Saravana Bhavan. i have reported to the floor supervisor, he admitted that the order slip is misplased. this was happened couple of month before also some restaurant we have to wait hours together to get the table during weekends. Now i understand this is usual problem in most of the restaurant. about attitude we have to inform the management, however no management will tell to neglect the costomer, eventhen if management is not rectified they are the one looser.

had the same experience, alike jack9999 had the worst experience at the Al andalus subway. didnt expect lousy service from a brand like subway. attitude of most of such eateries is like asking customers "why bother us by coming" :-|
So there is nothing we can do. Will take you exp. into account and not visit it.
There is no such manager there.... one senior waiter and a cashier are managing the things..
Always speak to the person incharge, if you are served in a bad manner.
The service at Subway (Al Andalus Petrol Station) was really bad and I spoke to the business development officer and got the issue resolved.
Customer service is important for any business. If they continue this attitude, no one will give the support to this restaurant.
I agree with you skvnair. The service there is very poor.
I too had a similar bad experience. Not trained staff, no manners, poor quality in service.
The management has to look into this seriously..

It's a common problem in most of the restaurants. There is a solution. Try to avoid visiting during week ends ;-P in particular, during peak hours.
Why dont you speak this to the manager rather than the waiter. Do one thing make the waiters educated or learn cooking .
