These are answers, some students have written in their exams...

* The tides are a fight between the Earth and Moon. All water tends towardsthe moon, because there is no water in the moon, and nature abhors a vacuum.I forget where the sun joins in this fight.

* When you breathe, you inspire. When you do not breathe, you expire. ;-)

* Many dead animals in the past changed to fossils while others preferred to be oil. ;D

* Clouds are high flying fogs.

* I am not sure how clouds get formed. But the clouds know how to do it, and that is the important thing. .....*lol*

**
* Clouds just keep circling the earth around and around. And around. There is not much else to do.

* Cyanide is so poisonous that one drop of it on a dogs tongue will kill the strongest man.

*Thunder is a rich source of loudness.

* A vibration is a motion that cannot make up its mind which way it wants to go. ;)

* "Water is composed of two gins, Oxygin and Hydrogin. Oxygin is pure gin.Hydrogin is gin and water."

* "H20 is hot water, and CO2 is cold water." *..:D*

* "Three kinds of blood vessels are arteries, vanes, and caterpillars." ;(

* "Dew is formed on leaves when the sun shines down on them and makes them perspire."

* "The body consists of three parts - the brainium, the borax and the abominable cavity. The brainium contains the brain, the borax contains the heart and lungs, and the abominable cavity contains the bowels, of which
there are five - a,e,i, o and u." (Really confusing???///////)

* "The alimentary canal is located in the northern part of Indiana."
(eeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa)\o/

* "Equator: A managerie lion running around the Earth through Africa.."

* "Germinate: To become a naturalized German."

* "To keep milk from turning sour: keep it in the cow." (*no comments....??????????//////////*)

tell me....who defines what is social and what is anti-social?society itself, isn't it?who are they?God?

see,i respect society and don't like to stick out from it like a sore thumb.but i don't like to live as its slave either.i live my life the way i want.not the way society expects me to.

none of the women get acceptance from the so-called society in these movies...but that doesn't stop them from fighting it out till the end.it all depends on the mind-set.and we do get to see such situations in OUR society too, don't we?surrogate mothers(okay so they may not do it for a friend...but for money).....spinsters in their late twenties trying to find grooms for themselves through matrimony sites....and pregnancies out of wedlock?society does not accept any of these....but they do happen in real life.

No male society Equals to female Dominance....SS!

Believe me it is NOT practical in OUR society.

May be in west, conceptually it get some accomodation but difficult to survive.

By svelte_saggi• 31 Jan 2010 14:35
svelte_saggi

were they stories about women dominance?IMHO,i don't think so.i look at them more like stories about how women try to stand on their own without needing a man for support.i respect such women...who choose to be brave in a society dominated by men,as they say.

Unfortunately, in our country, we divide our very own languages and fight for......so ignorant.

i wouldn't exactly use the word 'fluent' for all of them.english, hindi, malayalam and tamil...yes,i'm fluent;meaning to say i can read, write and speak with equal elan.i can read and write arabic well...understand 6 words out of ten.....french-let's say i understand product brochures,etc....working knowledge.and urdu...i can just understand and with some difficulty i can read it too.that's coz the script is quite similar to arabic.

vic...i guess my curiosity got the better of me.usually, going by experience,i have never liked any movie that the entire world has raved about....for instance 'Sholay','Raja Hindustani','DDLJ','Koi Mil Gaya'.....duh!people call me insane in my choices....but i prefer much more realistic commercial cinema.loved 'Filhaal' and 'Salaam Namaste' and 'Life in a Metro'....
