Customs seize 1,984 gold pieces with them

Two Arab men tried to smuggle 1,984 gold pieces inside their underwear into Saudi Arabia but were arrested by Border customs.

Customs inspectors decided to search the three after suspecting they were hiding something under their clothes as they tried to cross the border with the UAE.

Sabq newspaper quoted customs director Abdul Rahman Al Muanna as saying the three, who were travelling on a passenger bus, had a total 9.4 kg of gold pieces.

He said they tried to smuggle the stuff to shun paying customs tariffs on jewellery.

From 2010 to 2014, the number of reported crimes in Qatar fell from 61,481 cases to 39,810. That is 109 cases PER DAY. How can someone claim that Qatar was SAFE?? - And these are only the REPORTED CASES!

OK MM, thank you once again.

In fact, you are right - you should concentrate more on the topic rather then clicking those like/report button BLINDLY.

Thank you and joys !
