Upset or happy?

Why are some upset that Qatar won the bid while others are head over heels...? The upset ones are wailing about rent, cost of living,traffic,etc...

I am confused...but now feel proud of Qatar almost as much as India, when I see them doing well in CWG,China, etc.I cannot forget that pretty Samia from Qatar, who performed in the Floor Gymnastics.

But it is not as bad as the discrimination they face from the West and Europe, just because a bunch of fools do something bad in the name of All'ah who does not know what and why they are doing it.. :-(

Most expatriates were not against Qatar wining the bid but they didn't like them to get it because majority of the locals act rudely towards others plus the open racial discrimination going around provides more reason for it.

For the next 12 years, Qatar will be under intense scrutiny. This is the WC, not the Asian games, and Qatar cannot afford to trip up when the World is watching. Hopefuly this might be the catalyst to change.
