Our Salute to Qatar’s Emir
As a Sri Lankan, my sincere gratitude to Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani for extending support of providing Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) to Sri Lanka during a recent discussion with H.E the President of SL, Mahinda Rajapakse.
Also, he has promised to support in the development of Tourism in SL.
I see this would undoubtedly create a positive boost in the bi-lateral relationships between SL & QTR. Qatar has been a friendly Nation of SL since years.
On behalf of more than 95,000 work force of Sri Lankans,
I propose we all should extent our sincere gratitude to Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani & his Government.

I heard that at the same meeting HE the Emir has agreed to provide a land for the Sri Lankan School in Doha, which was a long avaited requirement. It is indeed a great consideration for us Sri Lankans in Doha. Our salute to HE the Emir
and concentrate on playing better cricket :-P
