for mistreatment of Americans!!!

http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Middle-East/2010/0909/Iraq-to-pay-400-mil...

Iraq has quietly agreed to pay $400 million in claims to American citizens who say they were tortured or traumatized by Saddam Hussein’s regime after his 1990 invasion of Kuwait.

The Iraqi foreign ministry said the $400 million settlement, signed last week with James Jeffrey, the new US ambassador to Iraq, resolves legal claims inherited from the former regime and was in line with negotiations to end the sanctions.

The claims include compensation for emotional distress from the children of two contractors seized near the Iraq-Kuwait border in 1990, Americans held as human shields in an effort to prevent a US attack, and the case of CBS News reporter Bob Simon and his cameraman who were held after being arrested along the border with Kuwait.

Spot on, Money talks...walks :)

Kuwait,Iran,Turkey and Syria, all are taking advantage of the weak Iraq today.

Iraqi MPs are making around 130k $ (that is alot of money in Iraq),whilst Iraqis are living in constant shortage of water, medicine, blackouts and insecurity.

We are the Americans with our tails the Brits, we will accuse you then attack you and then take your money for compensation, you know what you have no choice but to pay.

We are the most honorable, the smartest, the most beautiful and we are on the good side and you are bad.

I suck, I am out.

The curse of Saddam(Raheemullah) lives on... But I for one feel, given the current situation ,and the history,Iraq has done wisely,Inshallah..Lets just hope and pray their nobility works out in their favor and they too get whatever recompense they deserve for all the pain and oppressions they suffered.

The Iraqis had no choice.. As the article says, “There was a lot of pressure on the Iraqi government to do something that gets Congress off their back,”.

Now the US will vote for any sanctions to be lifted and "life can get back to normal"

just the beginning. In fact Iraqis have to pay for the following as well.

1. Costs incurred on ammunition that was used to kill Iraqis.

2. Cost of mobizing a huge coallition force.

3. Compensation for fatigue caused to trigger-finger and pilots thumbs.

To avoid such claims in future, it is recommended that the next victim nations should just drop dead as soon as americans order them to. This will save a lot of trouble.

Might is right folks. Morality doesn't count anymore.
