Falconry for Expats

I have been residing in qatar for a about a year now and I was instrested in prey birds ever since i was still a kid because my brother introduced me to his friend's eagle. Since that day, i was so fascinated by hunting birds, then when I got here in qatar, especially in falcon souq, i fell in love with the falcons which is one of the most popular and historical sports among the locals here. Having no idea on how to start, I was wondering if an expat like me can train or even have the chance to own one or should i go on training? I Hope someone can enlighten me with this kind of sport.
