Married American woman seeking Nursing job

Good afternoon!

I'm hoping you guys can help me. I'm trying to help a friend who's a newylwed find a nursing job at the Hamad or Al Ali hospital. She's an American citizen and I'd like to know if first off, there is an availability for her to work as a nurse in the Qatar hospitals and how she would apply for it.

Also, do they offer family accomodation to women with families? or some sort of housing allowance?

Finally, what are the chances for single women that want to apply for nursing jobs here in Qatar. Is it allowed or do they have to be married?

Thanks so much for your help, it means a lot!

Try Hamad hospital, the salaries will be low compared to the US though! Go for it!

she's got over 2 years of experience in the cardiac department but said she can file for any nursing job and then later switch to the appropriate department if there's an issue with her initial department of choice being full. she's single now but plans to marry her boyfriend in qatar. what kind of salary can she expect with that criteria in mind?

Depends which hospital they apply for! ;) Has she got experience?

I'm afraid that an American BSN or MSN would be rather disappointed in the salary here in Qatar.

Single qualified nurses are hired (why would they have to be married? And why ask anyways as your post states she is married.) If she's not married and has a significant other - they do have to marry in order to cohabit in Qatar legally. As for job availability, send a message to the hospitals. They would also be able to answer the questions about housing and sponsorship (the latter being more problematic).
