I got family visit visa for my wife: Kabayan, please advise/share your experience, what are the necessary formalities that she need to do next at Manila...
Can she get or apply a job here, eventhough she have only family visit visa....
thanks in advance...
Greetings All,
I am interested to know what is the right season or rather the right months when there is an abundance of vacancies for Teachers.
I'm an English Teacher, I have a CELTA certification and also hold a MASTERS degree in English. I have total teaching experience of 10 plus years,ESL teaching constitutes about half of it.
The only hitch here is,I am an "Indian" and do seek sponsorship for my 7 year old son as well.I must add here that I am a Roman Catholic from Bombay.I speak with a clear neutral accent and use the "Received Pronunciation".
My husband works in Qatar, but unfortunately cannot sponsor us as he does not fall into the right salary slab group.
I was in Doha on a visit visa last year for the period of 6 months i.e-Dec to June.Unfortunately,I had to return back as there were not many vacancies at that point of time, and the few offers I did get were either not for the right compensation package or they were not willing to provide my son with a sponsorship.
So,this is my case so far, I would really appreciate a response from you people...what would you advice me to do next?
thanks everyone.... its a valuable information u shared to me.
Tell her whatever happens do not give anything to the immigration people at NAIA.
You have to get an affidavit of support from the Philippine Embassy here in Doha. And send it to your wife. She needs to present it at the Philippine Immigration together with her aunthenticated Qatar visa from Qatar Embassy Philippines. Travel tax, airport fee, passport and boarding pass that's all.
Ensure that your wife has the NBI, Certificates, Diplomas, Job references and contacts for her prospected job and bring here to Doha... the following link provides info on how to get at work permit for your wife...
