lol Isobel ... everyone has a place and a function in the ecosystem... some are here to serve and others to be served... a planet without lizards would max out on vermin.

Besides who else could we count on to wash our cars, empty our mall trolleys, deliver our pizzas, clean and cook...

Lay off the low lives and appreciate what they do to make our lives more elite!

Do you really think you deserve them?

You get them because you are cheap!

Yes you do.

Get used to that concept.

do not fold your sleeves, especially the 2 folds look which malabari executive bachelors seem to consider a fashion statement... it sure is a fashion statement... a real bad one!!!!

do not carry your CV in a Carrefour plastic bag ( or for that matter your local grocery bag) no matter how exciting it may seem to you. Get a real decent leather pouch

and please wear a deo!

Having read your ad, what you appear to be looking for is a company IT 'handyman'.

Now the weather is nice, I'd suggest you take a walk up and down C/D Rings and target smaller businesses in the office blocks there.

Remember, a CV only opens the door. Once you get a foot in that door it's up to you to impress at the interview,

however if your CV sucks, you will not even get the interview, so get someone to help with it.

If you do turn up unannounced, do it dressed smartly (shirt tucked into to trousers, and proper shoes - NO sandals or jeans) and apologize for taking their time.

HadiRaheel,

Please note that IT jobs are very few in Qatar.

There is no IT industry here to offer lot of opportunities.

Target Govt.Departments, companies in Oil/Gas sector, Banks etc. Only big companies hire IT professionals.

Wish you good luck,

Qbound.

I have a similar situation as what you have...Im already here for more than a month yet unemployed...I strongly agree its not with the communications skills because based on my experienced I had an interview wherein I can't really analyzed the interviewer's question asked due to the fact that the accent was so stiff and the incorrect grammar made my nose bleed...

I felt that he was disappointed and unease with me since I am always asking "can you kindly repeat" "pardon me Sir"...later I realized I should pace my way of communicating with the interviewer since Im the applicant but believe me understanding the interviewer was really a tough one...anyway thats a lesson for me to learn...

This is not to offend any HR peeps who might read this...I guess my experience was once in a lifetime....in everything happened there always be a purpose...

Be optimistic you're surely find the right and best job for you...its a matter of time and patience...:)

and your English is not that good. What else can I direct at you?

Your English is not that good because it is your second language.

I don't have a second language so good for you!

Yet, neither would I try and apply for a job in my second language if I failed at that and my qualifications were bad.

You are very cheeky.

and your level of English is not that great. I would think your qualifications and experince are dubious at best.

You will get a job. I am sure you have somebody to help you. Make the most of it; as your lack of qualification and experience will show itself and then you will be sacked.

You will be back on here shouting racism and most will feel sorry for you etc etc etc!

Hadi Raheel, please try to improve your writing skills. I rejected more than hundreds of CV for a post I was interviewing just because of the English. Bad English only means lots of time to correct/understand your English.

It is indeed unfortunate that here in Qatar word of mouth seems to work better. Why dont you try door-to-door and just explain your true situation and tell them what you can do for them. Come up with innovative ideas to cut down costs. Employers like honesty and innovation.

Good luck in your search for a job.

PS. I am unable to use punctuation as I lost its key on my laptop.
