Temporary closure on Salwa Road on Friday and Saturday

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced temporary closure of four lanes on Salwa Road, on Friday and Saturday.

The closure will take place on a distance of one kilometre between Western Industrial interchange and Eastern Industrial interchange towards Doha from midnight till 6am.

The temporary closure will be implemented in coordination with the Traffic Department in order to facilitate installation of structures to put electronic signs between the two interchanges.

During this period, the traffic movement will be diverted to the service road for those travelling to Doha from Abu Samra.

Ashghal will install road signs to advice motorists of the diversion. The Authority has urged road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
