Sunday (December 17) declared as national holiday ahead of Qatar National Day

The Emiri Diwan has announced that December 17, Sunday, will be an official holiday.

With the Qatar National Day falling on December 18, offices will reopen on Tuesday, December 19.

Gulf Times has also confirmed the news. So how are you planning to celebrate the Qatar National Day? What plans?

Yes....It is for private firm as well since its public holiday and our company declared 17th as holiday.

It says on the post it is a state holiday, which means it is a country wide holiday.

from the wordings it seems like only to Emiri Diwan offices,"offices will reopen on Tuesday, December 19."

Either it for the whole nation or for particular offices under EmiriDiwan.

Confusions could have been clarified by the News Agency, even after 12 hrs no answer for the querries to Gulf Times or Peninsula
