
Saturday to see thundery rains, drop in temperature: Met department

The latest weather forecast from the Qatar Metrological Department says that the country can expect rainfall at places inshore and a drop in temperatures.
The temperatures will drop to 24C, from Friday’s relatively hjot 28C, reported Gulf Times.

In offshore areas, the weather forecast is thundery rain with strong wind and high sea. Wind speeds could reach up to 24 knots with rain and thunder. Waves are also expected to rise up to seven feet when it rains.
Inshore, wind could reach up to 18 knots with rain and thunder.

The maximum temperature of 24C is expected at Mesaieed, Wakrah and in Doha, followed by 23C at Dukhan and Abu Samra, 22C at Al Khor and 21C at Ruwais.
The minimum temperature of 16C is expected at Al Khor, followed by 17C at Dukhan, 18C at Mesaieed, Wakrah, Ruwais and Abu Samra, and 19C in Doha.
