Qatar Nanny Training Academy graduates 32 students
The Qatar Nanny Training Academy (QNTA) celebrated the graduation of its third batch, comprising 32 students, at a special ceremony held at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) on Thursday.
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Salman bin Hassan Al Thani, chief financial officer of Qatar Foundation, along with a group of VIPs and administrative and academic bodies.
Speaking at the ceremony, QNTA Chairman Dr. Yousuf Abdelrahman Al Mulla said the new batch of graduates demonstrates the role of the QNTA as a body that contributes to the enrichment of life of Arab Muslim family through providing academic training for nannies.
QNTA aims to develop human resources in Qatar and educate young people according to the teachings of the Islamic religion, while preserving the Arabic language and Qatari culture.
The Academy provides a training programme for Arab Muslim nannies so as to be qualified to take care of children at home.
The training programme includes specialised classes in all aspects of childcare, including first aid, nutrition, hygiene, education and Arab and Islamic cultural studies for a period of 10 months.
