Katara Cultural Village set to open vast new garden soon, says its GM Al Sulaiti
If you enjoy visiting the Katara Cultural Village with your family, then the experience is going to get a whole lot better soon.
This is because the iconic destination is soon set to open Katara Hills Garden (south), which will have several public facilities as well as a walking track and a car parking facility, reported The Peninsula.
Katara Cultural Village General Manager Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti revealed this in a tweet yesterday.

Earlier reports had said work on Katara Hills was expected to be completed by December 2018.
The project features lush gardens over an area of 361,500SqM. The green meadows have been divided into Northern and Southern Hills that are unique in design and boast many recreational facilities.
The Hills will have around 3,300 trees, brought from different continents and grown in the Qatari environment, serving as a meeting point for cultures and civilisations. There will also be a very spacious yard that symbolises the universal mind.
