HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani visited the 13th edition of the international exhibition for homeland security and civil defense (Milipol Qatar 2021) today.

One of the biggest and most important events hosted by Qatar in the field of internal security and civil defense, Milipol Qatar, kicked off yesterday at the Doha Exhibition and Conference Center (DECC).

His Excellency Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani officially opened the exhibition yesterday.

HH the Amir was briefed on the pavilions and sections of the exhibition as well as the latest innovations and technologies exhibited by local and international companies in the fields of security, safety, cybersecurity and civil defense devices and equipment, and major event security management, in addition to several modern military armored vehicles, weapons, and armored cars.

HH the Amir was accompanied by HE the PM and several dignitaries.

Being held in line with precautionary measures against COVID-19, the 13th edition of Milipol Qatar brings together exhibitors from over 70 international companies, representing 17 countries.

Milipol Qatar 2021 hosts five international pavilions representing Brazil, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America. Individual pavilions of international companies are also set up to ensure the provision of a wide range of regional requirements.
