In a first, Q-Post launches discounted rates for parcels
For the first time, Qatar Postal Services Company (Q-Post) will offer up to 40% discount for sending international parcels, reported Gulf Times.
The scheme, which starts today and will run for three months, covers select countries of the Arab region, South Asia and South East Asia.
Those sending parcels to Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh and the Philippines could get discounts up to 40% while Sudan-bound parcels could be sent at a 35% discount.
Egypt (30%), India, Tunisia and Sri Lanka (25%) are the other destinations covered by the discounted rates.
Q-Post deputy director of marketing and sales Khalid Al Emadi said, “the countries were selected due to the high demand for sending parcels."
“We understand the tradition of sending gifts and donations internationally before and during the Holy Ramadan. So we would like to contribute to these generous gestures by reducing our prices."
Key accounts head Jamal Al Mohammadi said this is the first time Q-Post is introducing a promotion as part of its services.
"We’ll continue to do so, as we’ve many services that customers aren’t aware of."
Q-Post has facilities to send parcels through air-freight and Express Mail which can be delivered to the addressee within the next three business days. More information could be had by sending an e-mail to [email protected].

It implies precisely what it says. That's the Royalmail benefit has passed the bundle on to the following merchant. video production companies. Your bundle can be in the US sitting on the "Abroad postal administration company's" stacking docks, or it can be in your nation sitting in a holding up region, or it can even be on a pontoon some place in the middle. There is no real way to know without a doubt, without knowing the 'abroad postal administration' that is being utilized.
I want to send a package to my muse in Havana , but the costs are too high :O(
Q Post has got to wake up and smell the coffee. Compared to the private shipping companies Q Post is in no way competitive. However it is nice to see that they are starting to show initiative at last.
