The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has arrested an Asian official for taking bribes from violating shops in exchange for removing violations from records.

The shops which committed violations were located at a popular market. The department received information that the man working in a ministry was taking bribes from violating shops and restaurants.

Investigations revealed his illegal activities and he was caught red handed, the Ministry of interior said on its official Facebook account.

The person has admitted to the charges saying he was asking money from commercial shops as bribe to remove their violations. The police transferred him to the Public Prosecution to complete the investigation.

zake: I am sorry but there is no excuse for greed and corruption... My question to you - Would you do the same if you wanted to give your family extras ?

@MM, I think it is a good point to look the case in reverse mode - in more than one angle- to investigate and be aware of what makes him criminal is more important than making a simple statement for punishment against the mistreat. Because if the case is inherent for sacrifices to satisfy others, the possibility of...recurrence... of the crime is very high, So, I think MM. raised a well said view of point and debatable about the issue to know more related factors to find solutions....

Molten metal. You are sympathetic to the criminal and not the victim.

What do you think that says about you :)

Xf, What I wish to pin point is the cause behind the gentleman's act ..................

We are manipulated , our thinking over powered by the multinational consumer product makes ....... so our family / relatives demand expensive gadgets ........ so a man succumb to the trap ....... without knowing . So originally it's not this gentleman's fault ..................

Yes..... Unless ofcourse he's the victim

@MM

So, if I rob you to pay debt or take care of my family, it's not a crime according to your post!

Bank loans / car ads / mobile ads / are responsible for it .......... temptations often lead men off the track ........

The point is what made to walk that way ? ........ For what he had to collect extra money ?

May be for his dependents .............. so we often make sacrifice for our family ............ we often take risk so the others' desires are fulfilled ..............
