Are you aware of working hours for offices during Ramadan?
It is always better to carefully plan your visit to government and other offices during the holy month of Ramadan. This is because during the holy month, all offices will operate shorter working hours.
This year, on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan for the Hijri year 1437, the working hours for civil employees will be five hours a day — from 9am to 2pm.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs HE Ahmad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud has issued a circular to this effect.
Meanwhile, according to labour law, the working time for private sector employees will be six hours a day and a total of 36 hours per week.
Does anyone know if these are the hours of the traffic division as well? I need to get my car re-registered. Thank you.
Public services ministries such as MOI will operate in the evening though
