Good day!

I just want to ask if i can bring some chinese ointment/cream in Qatar? I'm using it for skin rashes/itchiness. Its effective for me compare to those other over the counter ointment. Im a bit worried because its a chinese product, and they might think it something else.

Thank you.

Its not illegal its just an ointment/cream for rushes and itchiness. I will put it in my luggage not in my hand carry if ever.

Thanks for the inputs.

That's illegal, brit. It must be for HER personal use!

In general, importing medicine requires the approval of the Health Ministry. Keep the tubes in your pocket.

And the worst thing is that they will confiscate you.

I dont have any prescriptions or letter from the doc. I'm planning to bring two tubes in size of a thumb.

What if they dont allow, will they confiscate the item and let me through?

If it is for personal use and limited quantity, you can! If you plan on bringing a lot for commercial sales, no you can't

I'm sure they'd let you through if you've got a prescription for the meds with you. Maybe a letter too from your doc? Not too sure. though...
