World's fastest car, the Bugatti Chiron unveiled in Geneva
How does one introduce this beautiful, amazing and powerful gift to mankind? Designed and developed by the Volkswagen group, the Bugatti Chiron is the successor to the Bugatti Veyron. The model made it's first debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
It’s powered by a redeveloped version of the Veyron’s 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 engine and utilizes four turbos to make 1500 hp and 1180 lb-ft of torque, spread between 2000 and 6000rpm, making it the most powerful produced car the world has ever seen.
The Chiron will accelerate from 0–62mph in under 2.5 seconds, 0-124mph in less than 6.5 seconds and 0-186mph below 13.6 seconds. The Chiron's top speed is limited to 261 miles per hour (420 km/h) for safety reasons.
Only 500 Chirons will be produced, and a third of them have already been reserved for €2.4 million (9.6 Qatar Riyals) a piece. The model will be available in the market towards the end of 2016.
“It is part of human nature to cross boundaries and set new records – to run 100 m faster than ever before, to fly even further into space and to enter new realms. This striving is also our driving force at Bugatti,” said Wolfgang Dürheimer, President of Bugatti Automobiles. “The Chiron is the result of our efforts to make the best even better.”
The Bugatti Chiron has truely brought the automotive world to a stand still by taking the laws of physics and bending them to it's will.
acchabaccha: From my experience, usually those with such cars drive them rarely and very carefully... It is usually the boy racers in ordinary cars who kill themselves..
It is quick way for the rich to buy death for themselves.
Come on WT... It's just a newer version of the Veyron designed to take more money out of the pockets of the rich and gullible..
As for the last sentence - It is probably a line from some hollywood movie
"taking the laws of physics and bending them to it's will." What an utter rubbish. Can the car fly?
