Students for Road Safety successfully concludes participation at the Qatar Motor Show
The Students for Road Safety exhibit in Qatar Motor Show was very successful, they educated the youth and the public about positive Road Safety behaviour.
The Minister of Transport and Communications, H.E Jassim bin Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti was introduced to the progress made by the successful campaign around encouraging safe driving practices.
The Students for Road Safety's (SFRS) booth attracted huge numbers during the Qatar motor show including Qatari professional quad biker Mohamed Abu Issa with their state of the art Students for Road Safety simulator. SFRS was set up by Maersk Oil Qatar in 2013 to encourage positive road behaviours, particularly among students.
Maersk Oil Qatar has continued to show its commitment to road safety in Qatar through sponsoring the 24th International Traffic Medicine Congress, held in Doha, to assist the country to achieve the National Traffic Medicine Strategy Goal 2013-2022 and a PowerTalk road safety event in Qatar in 2015 with key stakeholders in Qatar
