The new 2016 Ford Ranger makes first debut in Qatar.

The Ford Ranger was launched today at the Salwa road showroom, the model comes with new features. Its sportier, sleeker, stylish and the performance is improved. 

The Ranger comes with newly, improved frames and designed bumpers, while the headlights and taillights have been equipped with LED lighting giving it a brighter look.

The interior of the car has a sleek and modern touch, a new dual-TFT instrument cluster is fitted in the model to provide drivers with information about the vehicle, as well as entertainment and cellphone features at a glance.

Three engine options are available for the redesigned Ford Ranger:

~ Ford's powerful 3.2-litre and 197hp Duratorq TDCi five-cylinder diesel engine tops the range, it produces 200PS of power and 470Nm maximum torque.Expected fuel consumption for this engine is 21 mpg for normal and 30 mpg on the highway.

~ The Duratorq TDCi 2.2 liter engine with 150 hp and 375Nm of torque, is the second option.

~ The Ford's dependable 2.5-litre Duratec petrol engine, providing 163PS of power and 225Nm of torque, will also be available.

Both the 3.5L and the 2.2L engines still come with six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions.

The new 2016 Ford Ranger is set to establish new benchmarks in the light commercial vehicle segment with an uncompromised blend of robust capability, craftsmanship and advanced technology. The refreshed version of the compact pickup is now available at AMC, Ford’s importer-dealer in Qatar.
