2016 Motocross World Championship kicks off in Qatar

Today marks the first day of the FIM Motocross World Championship, all eyes are on Losail international circuit, as Qatar hosts the opening round.

The riders got a chance to visit Katara cultural center, where they were able to enjoy the buildings and facilities in the artistic venue which reflects Qatar’s cultural and architectural heritage.

During the press conference held yestarday at the media center in Losail, the riders expressed their season goals. and what their fans should expect.Youthstream President Mr. Giuseppe Luongo gave a warmly welcome to the riders and their teams to Qatar.

He was joined by Losail Circuit Sports Club Vice Chairman and General Secretary Mr. Khalid Al Remaihi, QMMF President Mr. Abdulrahman Al Mannai and FIM/CMS Director Mr. Tony Skillington along with some of the biggest protagonists for this years season.

The MXGP is currently going on at the Losail International Circuit, a fan zone has been set up behind the stands where children can play while you enjoy the action.
