What is the best supermarket to buy food without hormones, preservatives, or which doesn't sell GM Food?

I don't trust American meat, and I try to keep my intake of preservatives and hormones as low as possible.

Also, is the fresh milk sold here produced with Bovine Growth Hormone? (rBGH)This hormone gives the cows infections and allows puss to seep into the milk supply.

Cool, thanks for the Rainbow milk hint. Other then that I was recently at Carrefour and because most of their products are from Europe they are not produced with GM Food.

The EU has strict guidelines about not using GM Food, so anything that's produced in France, Holland, or Italy is definitely fit for consumption.

I spent the same amount of money at LuLu's as I did at Carrefour, and I much prefer the options at Carrefour. However the ready made Chicken Curry is soooo much better at LuLu's. More spicy and a lot more flavorful.

And as for preservatives, well I'm a label reader... the milk was still a bit ambiguous but everything else was labeled in English and Arabic, even when they put a sticker over the original ingredients list.

All the Carrefour made products have just the basic food stuffs in it and they tend to stay away from any chemical additives, whether it's colouring or flavouring. Also I found surprisingly few preservatives in the majority of their food.

By the way, for the most comprehensive list of which additives are good, bad, or half-way go to http://www.cspinet.org/reports/chemcuisine.htm

I've sent this web address to all my loved ones, especially since I have a brother who is highly allergic to most food colourings. He gets massive migraines and passes out from the pain because his body treats the colouring as a poison.

Also does anyone know where I can buy this Rainbow Milk, or tell me if it's "organic" or not. All the packs of milk state is that it's 100% Cow's milk, they don't mention anything about Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH)

You can use Rainbow milk or else try the milk powder. There is nothing much you can do in this age of consumerism.

For that you have to cultivate and consume your own.

Also own a cow for milk. That is the only idea. Good luck!
