Doctor consultation charges?
Hey there lovely folks!
I have been sick for the past few days with signs of phlegm and dry cough. I need to consult a doctor (probably at Hamad). My company still hasn't processed my health card and I'm not sure of the doctor consultation fee at Hamad. Anyone who knows the standard consultation fee at Hamad?

If you already have an RP, go to the nearest health centre and apply for the health card by yourself. You don't have to wait for your company to process it. Make sure you have all the relevant documents like 3 passport photos, Rental agreement, Ooredoo bill, Employment Contract, etc. They can issue the card on that very day, if they are not busy.
Suggest you go to a private clinic. Most of them charge around QR 75 as consultation fee. There are several of them around Doha. Also, if the problem is not very serious there are several medicines that pharmacists at most pharmacies can recommend which may help you. Phlegm and coughs can be usually cured through medicines available off the shelf at pharmacies.
I think they won't even look at you without health card, unless you are dying at their doorsteps.
