What is a good school/Compound combination?

Guys, I am just about to move out to Doha with my wife and 13 year old son. I will be staying in a company flat for the first 4 weeks and then I am on my own, so to speak. I know there are different qualities of schools and different qualities of compounds but could anyone do me the favour of letting me know what would be some good combinations, i.e what is a decent school that happens to be quite close to a decent compound.
Any help would be appreciated.

You may wish to specify schools that would be likely to have a place available for your child. There are some good schools (and good compounds relatively close by) but whether either (more importantly the school as they can be difficult to find a place) will have space is another question.
